Since 2022, the QR invoice has been the standard in Swiss payment transactions. MeisterOffice generates the QR payment slip automatically on every invoice, you don’t have to do anything extra.
What you need for it
The payment slip needs your bank details: IBAN (or QR-IBAN) and account holder from the company profile. You enter both in the setup assistant or under Einstellungen, Firma (Settings, Company). If the IBAN is missing, no QR invoice can be generated.
How it works for your customers
The customer scans the Swiss QR Code with their banking app, all the details (amount, account, reference) are already filled in, and the payment is recorded in seconds. Anyone who prefers to pay at the counter uses the same payment slip on paper.
Reference and reconciliation
Every QR invoice carries a reference that MeisterOffice uses to match incoming payments to the right invoice. To do this, import the camt file from your e-banking under Finanzen, Zahlungseingänge (Finances, Incoming payments): clear matches are assigned automatically and can be posted in bulk.
Good to know
- The QR-IBAN is detected automatically when entered and handled correctly.
- The QR part complies with SIX’s requirements (Swiss Payment Standards), banks validate it without issue.
- After setting up, check with a test invoice as a PDF that the address and account are correct.
