For maintenance contracts, service subscriptions and any regularly billed service, you don’t have to write an invoice by hand every month: a service subscription takes care of it automatically.
Creating a service subscription
Under Verkauf, Serviceabos (Sales, Service subscriptions) use Neu (New) to record:
- The customer and, optionally, the associated project
- The subscription’s title, for example “Annual heating maintenance”
- The line items with prices, just like a normal invoice
- The VAT rate, interval and start date
From then on, MeisterOffice automatically generates the invoice with all line items on the displayed next-invoice date.
Overview and maintenance
The list shows, for each subscription, the customer, interval, next run, gross amount and whether it is active or paused. Price change on a maintenance contract? Open the subscription, adjust the line item, done. The next invoice picks up the new price.
Good to know
- Paused subscriptions don’t generate invoices, but keep their history.
- The generated invoices appear completely normally under Rechnungen (Invoices), including the QR payment slip and reminders.
