The price list is your catalogue of materials and services. Kept well maintained, it makes quoting noticeably faster, because line items get suggested as you type.
Recording an item
Under Verkauf, Preisliste (Sales, Price list) use Neu (New) to add an item:
- Name and unit (hour, m2, piece, flat rate)
- Selling price and, optionally, the purchase price: MeisterOffice calculates your margin from these, in CHF and percent
- Category, item number and notes
Overview and filters
The list distinguishes material from labour, and can be filtered and searched by category. Show archived items when needed.
Working together with quotes
When entering a quote or invoice line item, MeisterOffice suggests matching items from the price list, with price and unit. The AI draft also draws on your items and prices.
Good to know
- Changing prices only affects new line items. Quotes already created stay unchanged.
- Keep purchase prices up to date too, then you can see at a glance where your margin is shrinking.
