Creating and using projects

Run job sites as projects: everything for a job bundled together, from time to photos to invoices.

In MeisterOffice, a project stands for a job site or a larger job. It bundles everything that belongs to it: time, work reports, photos, quotes and invoices.

Creating a project

Under Projekte, Projekte (Projects, Projects) use Neu (New) to create a project and link it to a customer. Title, status, job-site address, date range and description make the project unambiguous for the whole team.

The project list

The overview shows the project number, title, customer and status, with search, a status filter and an archive view.

Why projects are worth it

  • In time tracking, your people choose the project, and the hours land in the right place automatically.
  • Photos and work reports get assigned to the project, so job- site documentation builds up as you go.
  • In scheduling, you plan employees straight onto projects.

Good to know

  • Archive finished projects instead of deleting them. That way the documentation stays available for questions and warranty claims.
  • Individual areas of the project detail page are being expanded on an ongoing basis.
