The log under Finanzen, Protokoll (Finances, Log) records every change in MeisterOffice: who created which invoice and when, who changed which customer, who posted which payment?
The view
For each entry, the table shows the time, user (or “System” for automatic processes), the action, the affected object and a description. Filters by date range, object type, action and user narrow down the list.
What you need it for
- Tracing: “Who changed the price on this quote?” is answered in seconds.
- Trust: even automatic processes, such as entries from a service subscription, are visible as system entries.
- Audit: your accountant (Treuhänder role) can view the log without you having to supply screenshots.
Good to know
- The log is read-only, entries can neither be changed nor deleted. That’s exactly what makes it valuable as evidence.
- AI actions are logged too: you can always see which draft came from the AI and who accepted it.
